The first thing I ask when someone says they want to swap out a engine because its bad is whats actually wrong with the engine. A bad carburated 2.8 might just be a worn carburatior, distributior, or even a basic fuel issue.

Drop spindles on an s10 should only be a 2" i believe most manufacturers are i know full sizes offer bigger drops on spindles, nothing i've seen for an s10. The truck has 137,700+ miles on it. The truck drove great when I first bought it. The extra width of the Zr2 is the front of the frame. The upper control arms are identical to regular S10 4wd. The lower control arms has the sway bar tab in farther on the ZR2, but the length is the same as standard 4wd. The reason the sway bar tab is inboard is because the LCA mounts farther out because of the frame.
